Gross time is the time elapsed from when the first runner started – 7:19:35 pm. There was a slight discrepancy between your official start time and your actual start time because of the need to keep you away from the mats until the word “GO!” Net time is your actual chip time.
Thanks to all the team at Otley for pulling off a successful end to the season and everybody who organised the earlier races. 658 people ran in at least one race which I reckon is a record for the League. Fantastic!
In 2016 we changed the rules to allow registered runners to take part in the Norman Smith Handicap race even if they had not completed the required 2 qualifying races. See the links in the fixtures list
New links added on the Home page above the fixtures list. Please read!
If you have any photos of the race, please upload them to the platform of your choice and email a link for the website, stating your name and club.
The new UKA Rules for Competition include the following:
RULE 240 S 5 UKA SUPPLEMENT – HEADPHONES
The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic.
As all this season’s races use or cross such roads, headphones of any description (except if medically prescribed) are not allowed. This is not at the discretion of the race organisers.
